The weaver's knot is a great way to add a new length of thread to the warp, weft, or when working techniques such as macramé or Teneriffe lace. There are actually a few ways to tie a weaver's knot (often dependant on the fibre used, or even the location of the weaver)- here's one method that works well.

It helps to try to tie the knot where it won't be very noticeable - with a CreatiFrame project, at the edge, with lace, where other stitches will be worked to cover the knot.
